____________
Henry Ford
As I drive around in my Nissan Maxima (sorry Mr. Ford) I sometimes listen to Motivational content. Other times it’s WFAN on the radio.
Henry Ford had one of the best motivational phrases ever. He said, “Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t – you’re right.”
In other words, it all starts with you and your thoughts. So if starting, or growing, a business of your own is the goal, then it takes a certain mindset to keep that ship on course. These terrific books will certainly help:
Rich Dad Poor Dad – by Robert Kiyosaki
Reality Check – by Guy Kawasaki
Gung Ho – by Ken Blanchard
Raving Fans – by Sheldon M. Bowles and Ken Blanchard
Delivering Happiness – by Tony Hsieh – CEO of Zappos.com, Inc.
Radical Leap – by Steve Farber
Google them.
All well worth a few hours of reading while sitting in those big green comfy chairs at Barnes & Noble.

These are just a few excellent, and quite interesting books, I have read:

Hackers: Heroes of the Computer Revolution – by Steven Levy

You’re right. I don’t spend a lot of time watching TV. 🙂
